Refund policy
Returns
Returns & exchanges can only be made under certain circumstances, excluding damaged goods.
We do not offer refunds. The purchased goods will be exchanged for store credit subject to an inspection of returned goods for modification, wear and abuse.
Additional deductions may apply subject to this inspection. All returns must be made within 14 days of purchase.
The postage costs will be deducted. Returns must include original packaging, manuals and warranty cards.
Any returns made after 14 days will be refused.
Please contact us to discuss and arrange a return and we can inform you of your options.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your return. If you are approved, then your return will be processed, and a credit note issued.
Sale items
Sale items cannot be exchanged.
Preloved / Used items
All preloved items are sold as seen and cannot be returned.
Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, visit the store with your proof of purchase or email us at info@windmillguitars.com to arrange.
Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a credit note to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.
Shipping

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for return of your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
If you are shipping an item over £50, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item. In all cases please ensure you obtain a proof of postage / despatch.
